Short Bio
Pha Nguyen is currently a Ph.D Candidate in Computer Science at the Computer Vision and Image Understanding (CVIU) Lab, University of Arkansas, under the supervision of Prof. Khoa Luu. Before pursuing his doctorate study, he obtained his B.Sc degree from VNU - University of Science. He was also a Research Engineer at VinAI Research.
His particular research interests are focused on deep learning, machine learning, and their applications in computer vision. His goal is to cultivate a well-rounded set of skills in both academia and industry, with a focus on image and video understanding systems, aspiring to be both a proficient engineer and an impactful scientist.
Research Topics: Visual Temporal Modelling [CVPR'24], Vision-Language Models [NeurIPS'23], Multiple Object Tracking [PR, CVPR'21].
Distributing Datasets: Grounded Object Tracking (GroOT), Scene Graph Generation (ASPIRe).
